Twilight of the Gods

"E-explain!"

Amilee nods rapidly.

"Well, unfortunately for him, he won't be seeing much, because I refuse to watch. And if he wants me that badly, he can come get me his bloody self so I can stab him through his heart."

"B-bullshit."

"I thought that you had said that the gods had turned away from him?"

"B-bull shit. The f-feces from a m-male cattle, u-usually a cow, w-with large h-horns."

"Cow? What is this?"

Suddenly, the fight begins, as the golem swings full speed at Bran. He nimbly dodges, but does nothing to counter. He continues dodging all of the attacks, laughing easily, making no move to fight back.

"Meaning?"

"No, meaning what certain birth rights?"

Sera returns to meditating with her candle.

Amilee hugs herself, shaking visibly, staring at the ground.

"We may not speak of it."

The golem seems to be crumbling slightly as Bran dodges and bobs around it, giving voice to a mocking laugh as he pirouettes in the air, landing on the golem's outstretched hand. Pieces of the golem continue to fall off, as the magics holding it together begin to decay from the energy expenditure required to attempt to strike Bran.

"Th-that m-makes no sense!"

"That's the point," the old woman says, cackling.

Aztlan looks furious as Bran continues to deteriorate the magic of the golem. He leaps around, dodging each new attack, not striking at it at all. Finally, the golem crumbles completely, the larger pieces crashing to the ground, the others disintegrating into dust. Bran turns to the crowd, blowing kisses. Seeing Amilee, he smiles and waves.

Amilee manages a small smile in Bran's direction.

Aztlan makes furious gestures, pointing at Bran. A score of his guards march up to Bran. Noticing them, he blows a kiss to Amilee, before being dragged away.
