"Pfft, you kidding? It's a middle school, no little kids there. And besides, what teen would go to school when they don't have to? It's the middle of the night!"

"You obviously don't know anything about zombie invasions! Schools are near the top of the list of place you don't go!"

" Simpletons," Shade roars, almost tearing the metal he was bending in half. "I. Need. DIRT."

"Shade, Jaime's right over there if you need dirt THAT badly."

"You think you're funny, don't you?" I laugh, slamming through a couple more fools with my staff and incinerating them with lightning.

"He's very funny!"

"I prefer the term 'witty' thank you very much!"

I laugh, holding out a hand at a zombie and smiling as it turns to electrified ashes. "Bitch please. All hail the FREEDOM WHALES!" I shout the last two words.

Shali facepalms, groaning. "Damn it Jaime, it's the middle of a Zombie invasion! Enough with the whales!"

Shade rapidly bends the metal into the shape of a whale, and sends it slowly floating through the room. "LET THERE BE FREEDOM!"

"WE! CAN! USE! WHALES!" I say, punctuating each word with a slam of my staff into a zombie's skull.

"GOD DAMNIT!" Shali throws her hands up into the air.

The whale proceeds to beat the tar out of one of the zombies. Shade smirks a little, before twisting the remaining metal into a large pole. Grooves ran down the sides, and these grooves seem to be swirling with what appears to be liquid metal. The metal flows up and down the grooves, defying gravity at the top and bottom by simply reversing flow.
"There we are. Tidemetal Staff. Been meaning to make one of these for years. Quite handy in the zombie apocalypse."

"Why. Why are we beating zombies to death with whales?"

"Bitch just jealous of my whale powers!"

"Whales. These majestic creatures crush even the mightiest zombies. But without you, they might all go extinct. Donate a zombie to your local whale today!" I laugh and laugh and slam and laugh.

She sighs, resting her face in her hands as her companions beat zombies to death with... Whales. "Right. Well, have we decided where we're setting up our base? We could stay on the move with this truck, but I'm not sure how good of an idea that is." She seems to have just surrendered to the madness of her friends, watching them indulge in their insanity. Hey, at least they have the zombies handled.

Ben.... well, steps is the best way of putting it, and ends up in the bed of the truck, struggling, then failing, to remain upright, as he goes sprawling.

Shali blinks, looking to the sprawled Ben, and considers a moment. "That's what we were forgetting! Oi, who wants to help me raid the camping section? We need air mattresses, air pumps, one of those portable camp stoves- I know what to look for, Ky showed me once, and I want to get some tents and bedding stuffs. ...Also I want to raid the stuffed toy section, and we could probably use some lanterns. We should get matches, fuel, and all the batteries, too." She considers a moment. "And someone staying behind, loot the corpses! If they haven't turned off the pumps, we can use any cash they have to get gas!"

"Oh. Right. Most of you need comfort. And sleep. Hmm. I need dirt. So wherever we go, I need to either rip a chunk out of the ground, or stay outside. Either way suits me. Times like this that whole immunity to mortal disease thing comes in handy."
