Welcome to the crazy. (Actually, at the moment, it's rather serious!)

"A pleasure. Your name will be added to our annals of heroes."

"I thank you for the honor."

Stonepaw nods, heading for the right-hand path.

After a while, the right hand path begins shrinking.

Stonepaw keeps going,hoping it doesn't get too small.

The path stops at head height for him. In front of him are a bunch of dwarves. They have rather evil looks on their faces. And axes. "Who goes there!?"

"Stonepaw."

"To pass, ye must defeat us in combat! Do ye wish to fight?"

Stonepaw sighs, motions them forward, and then begins bashing the walls around him, trying to trigger a rockslide.

The rocks are disturbingly sturdy. The dwarves charge forwards, axes aimed at knees.

He unsheathes his sword, using the longer reach to hold them at bay.

The dwarves, however, are crazy, and one of them jumps onto his sword to slow it down in an attempt to let the others at him.

He uses the dwarves' body to bludgeon the others.

"We give, we give!" The dwarves cry. Then, they are turned into rabbits. The tunnel is suddenly normal sized, and there is no trace of the rabbits or the dwarves.

Stonepaw blinks, wondering what is going on.

A tentacle faced monstrousity can be glimpsed, before he is in a land full of candy canes. Chocolate candy canes.

"Enough," he growls. "Show your true self. Do not send underlings after me. FACE ME!"

An old voice says. "Ohoho, but I am. Come and find me, little mortal morsel."

Stonepaw kneels, the blade clutched in his hands.

The voice sighs. "Mortals these days." A tentacle faced... rabbit appears in front of him. At rabbit size.

"Grandsire... I call to you. Last god of Our People, give me the strength to win and guide me to victory."

"Yes yes, call to your gods or ancestors or ancestor gods or whatever you mortals are coming up with these days." The words begin to drain Stonepaw of the will to live.

Red light flares in his eyes, and he stands, the fur of one shoulder imprinted with a Badger's hand. "Hey, you. Bring. It. On."

"Ah good. Ready to go then? Step right into my gaping maw, then, and we will begin." A dark portal opens up beside the rabbit. It seems to be coming from the rabbit.

With his first step, Stonepaw glows, getting brighter as he strides into the portal.
