Week Two - May the Games (and classes) Begin

"My chauvinist pig attitude couldn't allow it."

"Ah."

"So.... What now?"

"Now we go check on Hannah, so that we're there when she wakes up."

"Fine by me. Oh, did I miss almost all of the fighting?"
Bartholomew walks up, dragging Vincent's father by the shirt neck.

They nod.

"Well, that's disappointing. Grab on, kids."
Lys grabs his thick coat.

Shali and Jaime grab on as well.

They appear in Hannah's room, a palatial suite in the main area of the castle.

She's still unconscious, looking almost peaceful.

"..."

Shali moves to her side, brushing a bit of hair out of Hannah's face.

Bartholomew sets small stones on the nightstand, and they begin to glow, showing the events that had happened to her.

They show that she had been tortured in ways that nearly made Shali ill. "How... Could they... Those..." She cuts herself off as Hannah groans softly and opens her eyes.
((Because I'm not going to write it.))

Bartholomew quickly puts her back into her healing coma. "I give you a choice, one that needs to be chosen wisely. I can erase these, and give her false memories, or I could let her keep them. It is your choice. I'll leave you alone to make your decision."
He shuffles out of the room, looking sad.
"So, what should we do?"

Jaime and Shali exchange a glance, and Jaime gives Shali a slight nod. She turns to Lys. "She has to keep them. It would be... Bad.. If they were removed. You know how I was in the library earlier? I found a book on memory removal, and it mentioned that if one tried to remove traumatic memories like this one, the mind wouldn't let them. It would start to rebuild the memories, with nightmares that are worse then the actual experience. Much worse. And the nightmares never go away. The real thing was bad enough. I can't justify doing something that would do that to her."

"That's if a human does it. This is... special... magic..."

Shali and Jaime shake their heads. "I don't want to risk it. And she'd say the same if it were Shali."

"Deucalion will be insulted."

"Do what you like," Lys says, leaving.

Shali grabs him before he leaves. "Wait."

Lys shrugs out of it, and an elven looking creature comes up, going off with him.

Jaime and Shali sigh.

Not even Dumbledore's map can find him, Lys is depressingly hanging out with the elf.
