A couple of penguins walk up to them, and give them each a hug. They then proceed to hug everything in sight.

"They butchered my cousin, for being slow in the head, and magickally deficient. The nicest man I'd ever met, and they murdered him."

"They... They killed him?"

The penguins give them sympathetic hugs, lots of them!

"Killed is too light a word, they tore gaping holes in him until he bled to death."

Shali looks first like she's going to be ill, then furious. "I'll fucking kill them...."

Lys laughed a little at this, smiling at her. "I appreciate the support, but you wouldn't have a chance right now..."

"Just you wait. I'll get big, and then they'll all die. No one can survive a attack from the entire Wood family." She smiles as she says this last bit, her eyes flashing madly.

"Umm... They're all high-powered wizards..."

"And we are a entire family of crazy, with swords and guns and such. Did I mention my mom used to haul logs?"

"Did I mention they have giant bodyguards?"

"Hm... I'll need bigger spells..."

"That's why I said 'right now' member?"

Stonepaw pokes her gently. "Go talk to him"

"Ahahahaha! People are so amusing, living people especially!" A girl, looking about 13 to 16, hops of a large rock that had been unnoticed in the background. "I'm Kilani, nice to meet you!"

"Hi Kilani. I'm Saronda. Say, you wouldn't happen know where Niki is, would you?"

"Haven't heard of, or seen her, sorry! Oh! I recognize you!" She says looking at Sarillan.

Sarillan looks up. "You do?"

"Yes! You don't recognize me? I'm almost hurt! But I guess I do look a good bit different from the last time we met!" She says smiling brightly.

"I can't recognize you, no."

"Okay, one second!" She says, and starts changing, her... feminine characteristics becoming far more pronounced, and vaguely demonic wings sprouting from her back. "How about now?"
