Day 1 (The Facility)

The hissing and growling get louder, and they hunch down, as if about to attack.

Jimmy's feet move as if by themselves, adjusting to stand upon the balls of his feet as he hears the growling. The metal scales on his arm become more pronounced, before fading away entirely as his concentration fails.

After giving the slip of paper to Jordan, she looks around, doing her best to ignore Beth being an idiot, and looks for a way out. "Okay, so we're trapped in this hall, with those things on the other side, and there's nothing in this room, or the other one, any ideas?"

"I could try to open another wall?" Eiyre says, looking thoughtful.

"Okay, well-" Krori pauses for a second, trying to remember the names she had seen on the files- "Eiyre, you go ahead and try and open that wall there in the room with Jordan, and... Jimmy, how would you suggest going about doing that? And by the way, could you get Beth away from them before she gets herself killed in a situation that would be really kind of stupid to get killed in?" Krori has an obvious voice of authority, not like Jimmy- commanding and assuring- but soothing, she's the one to keep calm and mellow when everything around her is going to hell.

Beth flails, kicking. "Putmedownputmedownputme DOWN!"

"But I wanted to burn them...."

Beth pouts. "You're no fun...."

Krori glances at Beth and Jimmy, and the hint of a smile touches her face, before vanishing as she turns back to Eiyre. "Eiyre, you wanna try and do what you did to the hallway in reverse on this wall right here, see if we can get to the other side?"

"Okay." She turns on her visor to see, looking to the wall that Krori has designated. She starts pushing on the wall with her power, immediatly stopping and yelling. "AGH! Ow ow ow ow ow! Pain!" She yells, hitting the button on her visor hurriedly. "Bad idea bad idea! Visor is not to be on when using powers!"

Krori chuckles lightly, in an attempt to lighten the mood. "Yeah, probably shouldn't have that on." She says with a smirk.

Beth looks to Jimmy. "Aaaw, you ~do~ care!"

Jimmy glares for a moment, shaking his head at the crazy girl. Quickly, he turns his head to hide the small smile there.

Beth grins and calms a little, satisfied with her 'win'.

"Okay, lets try this again." She says, calming herself as best she can, then focusing on shoving the wall. "Come on, come on!"

Jimmy glares at his arm, watching as it gets shiny, vein popping out on his head as he tries to will it to do what he wants.

Jordan shivers, the overwhelming cold impairing his speech. "W-w-where are w- we going?"((Meaning he's not scared, he just REALLY cold.))

"Here, there, everywhere." Beth speaks in a sing-song voice, making a little flame in her palm.

Beth giggles. "Insane? Yes, but at least it's fun!"
