Day 1 (The Facility)

"AAAAAH!" She ducks down, letting the doors pass over her.

Jimmy nimbly leaps out of the way of the door, staring at the obviously delusional schizophrenic visor girl.

The doors clang at opposite walls, two of them hitting the energy shield around Victoria, crumpling into balls of metal, slightly crackling.

Jimmy takes purposeful strides towards the screaming girl, glaring and looking menacing with each step. Stepping directly in front of her, he puts a finger to his lips, saying: "You really need to be quiet."

"AAAAA-!" she stops screaming when he touches her. "Who are you?!" she yells, backing up. "Who am I?!"

"But I don't even know WHO or WHERE I am!" she's still yelling.

Either he is getting through to her, or she has just run out of scream for now, but she seems to be done yelling. "Okay."

"Ow ow ow ow ow!" Eirye is now clenching her fists tightly. "Button! Top of visor! Press please!" she says, loudly but not yelling.

Beth blinks as the door to her room flies off. Then... Smiles. Disturbingly. She steps out, humming quietly, looking oddly peaceful.

Victoria, now at some point of mental stability, is able to think rational thoughts without the chaotic turmoil that was her mind a few minutes ago. She takes the time to think before she speaks, glancing around at her fellow prisoners. She immediately took a liking to Krori, because: she broke her out of her cell, she broke out of her own cell, she managed to calm down the rampaging man, and she seemed sane. Jimmy was nothing more than scary, Eiyre was out of her mind... and then she noticed Beth.

Beth unnerved Victoria. The girl didn't seem scared, angry, or insane. Creepy was the only adjective that could've been used to describe her. Victoria began to take small, deliberate steps backwards towards Krori, but catches herself right before she hits the inside of the energy field. Instead, she calls out in a hushed voice. "Hey, guys, look. Over there." She points towards Beth, unsure of what to call the other person. Or herself, for that matter.

Jimmy glances at the newcomer, sighing as he thinks to himself that she seems to be just as incompetent as the others. Oddly enough, he feels none of his earlier desire to fight, instead going back over the incidents so far. As he replays the part where his hand got heavy and he smashed the door down, he pauses. "Hmm.... I wonder," he mutters to himself, thinking about the powers he has seen displayed so far today.

Beth sees them, and ~smiles~, waving. She's humming softly, stretching.

"Button! Press! Please!" She appears to be trying very hard not to yell.

Out of nowhere, something spurs her to rush over to Eiyre, her instinct to aid people in pain kicking in. Victoria does as the girl says, mashing down the button with her thumb. Her initial reaction to make no sudden movements, should she get an uppercut to the throat from a certain Jimmy, was ignored as she proceeded to interrogate the girl. "Are you okay? Do you still hurt anywhere? What's this visor for? Do you know anything about who or where you are?"

"The visor... It lets me see. It gives me headaches though, incredibly painful ones. I don't know my name... Thank you for pressing the button. It just started hurting so bad..." She unclenched her fists, visibly relaxing.

"Everywhere. The technology... is experimental." She stands up straight now, and stretches her arms. "I don't remember if it's supposed to hurt that much though..."

She reaches out, feeling across the ground as she crawls towards the sound of his voice. "Okay."

Victoria cast a quick glare at Jimmy, unappreciative of his intervention. Although she was still far from a certified doctor, she prided herself in knowing more in the field of medicine than the average civilian. Then again, everyone here seemed to be far from the average civilian. She was slightly irritated that Jimmy might be able to do more than her, but her thoughts flashed back to when her vocal cords suddenly felt better after screaming for minutes. There was no logical explanation for that--and in Victoria's black and white world, the unexplainable scared her.

She touched Eiyre on the shoulder, indicating that she was there. "If you stand up, I can help you walk."

Beth giggles softly, watching them. Her eyes drift lazily, from Jimmy, to Eiyre, to Victoria, then back again.

"Thank you." She stands up, looking remarkably steady.
