Day 1 (The Facility)

His apology immediately melted any ill feelings Victoria was harboring towards him, causing her to return his smile with one of her own. "It's alright. You seem to be doing a better job than me, anyway. And it's not like you hurt me." It was then that Victoria noticed that this man's hands were very battered, and she strided over to him to get a closer look. "What did you do to get these scars? Do you remember?" she asked, both curious and, like the benevolent person she was, wanting to help. Then she realized that he broke through a window--which she thought was bulletproof glass, from the resistance it gave. That would explain the swelling, but the scar tissue? She hadn't the slightest clue, and Victoria had a sneaking suspicion that he didn't either.

Jimmy glanced down at his hands, frowning, trying to figure out where the scars came from. "Hmm? No idea. The odd thing is, my hands are nearly completely numb..."

Beth giggles again, taking a couple steps closer.

Jimmy unobtrusively moves onto the balls of his feet to better move and quickly respond as Beth gets closer, instinctively preparing to fight.

Beth giggles softly, stopping. "You're funny! I like you!"

Beth tilts her head with a giggle. "Can I have a hug?"

((Asking a military man, even one with amnesia, is like inserting something into a donkey's rectum and expecting it not to try and kick you))
"Uh.... I'm not sure...."

"Pleeeease?"

She looks at him with wide eyes, the picture of innocence. Creepy innocence, sure, but innocence.

Jimmy sighs, looking as though he thinks this is a bad idea. "Fine, come here, but make it quick," he says, holding out his arms.

She bounces forward, hugging him tightly- then kicking him in the shin as she lets go, bouncing backwards with a giggle.

His hug is hard. There is nothing soft about this man, and he seems uncomfortable letting anyone get this close, particularly the strange female. He accepts the kick, though he could have blocked the strike.
"You know, I knew a girl once-" in the middle of his sentence, he covers the space between them, throwing an elbow at her head, but stopping it inches from her face. "Don't push it."

She grins. "Aaaw! But it's fun!"

"Okay, now that we've all agitated each other, can we make some sort of attempt to get out of here?" Krori paces around, before looking at the door, or rather, where the door had used to be, but it was too dark in the other room to see anything, since the light in their room was so low of a setting.

"Sure... lead the way," Anxiety was apparent in her tone by the way she instructed another person to face the darkness first, and thus, be killed by whatever danger loomed in wait. Her usual skittish nature didn't help much to calm her nerves as well--it wasn't her fault she was afraid of the dark.

Jimmy shoulders the people to one side, stepping into the darkness of the doorway.

Beth giggles slightly, ducking past him and running into the dark.

Victoria bit her lip, waiting for the screams of pain that she expected to come. but never did. She ran into the darkness after them, trying to peer for the other two figures that had already disappeared.

Eirye turns on her visor just long enough to see where everyone is, walks to stand beside the doorway, still inside the room. She then turns it off with a twitch of pain.
