Day 1 (The Facility)

"Give me just a moment." Eirye says focusing as hard as she can on the wall.

"But fun!"

Jimmy sighs, staring at the crazy lady.
"Do I have your permission to stop keeping you alive?"

"Hm.... Nope!"

"I like living!"

She turns, her cheery facade dropping as she -glares-, the light leaving her eyes.

He met her eyes squarely, his natural grim look boring into her.
"I called you an idiot because you acted like one. If I have to pull you back from stupidity again, I will call you an idiot. Plain and simple, lady."

She narrows her eyes, and huffs.

Krori chuckles inwardly at the bickering of the other two. They'd known each other for less than twenty minutes, and already, they were arguing like they'd been siblings for life. That lead her to another thought. Did she have any siblings? Was she an only child? It dawned on her that she could be in the presence of a member of her family, and she wouldn't even know it. She shrugged the thought away, and focused on the matter at hand.

The wall screamed as if it was pouring every last ounce of strength into clasping together, and keeping their enemies separated from them. A final screech was emitted as it buckled, pulling all of the metal in the wall to a central point, and then, as Eiyre's strength of her magnetism ability faded as quickly as it had come, the gnarled hunks of metal careened dangerously towards the group.

((Everyone roll a hundred sider please.))

Jimmy tried to twist away, years of training and discipline sharpening his reflexes. But would he be able to dodge? That was the only thing that mattered to his mind as he put himself through complex maneuvers his body believed would work. Danger had put it on autopilot, heightening his latent skills.

"Nononononono!" Eirye yells, attempting to remove herself from the path of the rubble.

The member 'aquaticnecris' has done the following action : Dice

Beth looooks up when she hears the others cussing- and blinks. "...oh. Fuck. Well, that can't be good." She tries to get out of the way, not seeming -too- alarmed.

The member 'Shali' has done the following action : Dice

'Hundred Sider' : 60

Beth, Eiyre and Jimmy all make successful dodges away from the shrapnel, getting safely out of the way.

Krori jumps back, and turns around to the rest of them, making sure they're all right, but fails to see when a small piece of shrapnel no bigger than a regular pin pierces straight through her calf, eliciting a pained gasp from her, followed by a loud crash as she plummets through the desk next to her that she attempts to gain her bearings on. She looks down at her calf, breathing heavily, to see a steady flow of blood coming from it, and several ounces have already drained out onto the floor and her pants. "Fuck, ow, shit." Her first instinct is to cover the wound, but just with her hand does little to staunch the bleeding other than to soak her hand thoroughly in her own blood.

That, on the other hand, accompanied by the crashes of the desk and the wall going just about everywhere, alerts the skiffers on the other side of the wall to their presence once again, and they immediately run to the room nearest to them, and hunch down, obviously preparing to pounce.

Jimmy grabbed the prone Krori, tearing his shirt and wrapping it gently around the wound. Jimmy shows a brief flash of his tattoo to the little one, growling as he lifts her bodily, setting her upon her one good leg.

Beth looks at the wound, head tilting. "Hm... Hold still." She walks forward, reaching out to wrap a hand around the injured part of the girl's leg. She's not particularly gentle, or even careful.

"Jaysus, Lady. You don't know how to be gentle, do ya?"

As Beth touches the Krori's calf, she yelps, then screams, then defaults to unconsciousness, and the smell of seared flesh floods the room, going limp in Jimmy's arms.

The skiffers, on the other hand, become excited by the newfound smell, and are quickly working themselves into a frenzy.
